I bought the following from Lee Valley Tools. I've ordered a lot from them and they are a wonderful company. If you do order anything from them, make sure to request a complete set of their catalogues -- you'll need everything you see!!

My impression of both of these carving sets: I've used the plastic Speedball tool for so long that using either of these handles drives me crazy. The smallest of the micro tools is a wee bit smaller than the Speedball #1 blade, but not so much that I use it with any regularity. The blades still need to be sharpened -- I don't think you can get away from that with any carving tool. 

Because I could buy these only in an entire set, I feel that some of the blades will be wasted (for soft-block carving, at any rate).
